Give2Go is a fundraising website that goes one step further. In addition to processing money raised by volunteers for charities, Give2Go promotes events for fundraisers driving visibility & awareness across an integrated social media platform.
Fundraising is not all about the money. It’s a journey. Whether you are cycling through Argentina or to Laois for Electric Picnic, packing your bags for Craggy Island or getting the dart to Sandymount Give2Go enables participants to share their fundraising journey all the way. Updating sponsors on training cycles or fundraising targets, guilting friends into supporting you by naming & shaming them is all possible by integrating your Give2Go page with your Facebook page.
With Give2Go, it’s never a Solo Run. When you build your page, see who else has signed up for the same event, post on their wall, share photos or videos, arrange training cycles or runs or after the event, re-live the excitement by organising re-unions or the next challenge.
Scared you’re in too deep or wondering if you can get porridge in the Andes? Give2Go gives full support, where you can ask questions and receive advice, help & the love. On tap.

WIN for the charity: WIN for you
Brian McDermott founded Give2Go in 2011 as a means of promoting fundraising for charities. He had the idea after completing a 21,164 kilometre cycle trip along the length of the Pan-American Highway over nine months, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina. Brian, along with five friends, raised €150,000 for Aidlink and wanted to continue helping worthy causes as well as creating a platform for other like-minded people.
Since this initial adventure, Brian has continued to raise funds for a number of charities with events such as a cycle around New Zealand during the Rugby World Cup 2011,the RWC Ireland to Wales charity cycle 2015 (and many in between), and the very popular annual cycle from Dublin to Electric Picnic, Tour de Picnic.
